Design Help??

I was thinking of just painting the walls white in my new build but then I thought it might be cool going light grey??

Can you please show me pics of what you did simple bright designs please?

There dozens of examples here of paint choices. The most common is a lower section around 36-42" up of a darker color (like gray), a stripe of rich color (usually red) and then a lighter upper (like white). Full white, while boring, gives the most reflected light and most usable. Some are concerned that it will look to bright/surgery room but I'm not aware of anyone that later went back and painted it darker.

A light gray (or grey) may be ok but is very dependent on how much natural light you have and/or how much lighting you plan to add.

...several years ago I helped a buddy build his shop... convinced him to go with a very light grey... no regrets! Now, I'm working on him to do the lower wall in darker grey with a burgundy color band (as described above) to match his 66' Mustang. Most "designers" will say that you should "never" use pure white... an assault on the eyes... but, to use a tint does require good lighting. My buddy has lots of windows and good artificial lighting... shop looks great! Sorry, no pics...
