This probably been asked a million times but here it is again

Is there a free shop design software that anyone has used and recommends? I have some cad experience from doing tool design 20 years ago but no cad software at home these days. I would like to be able to do enough design to communicate with my SIP builder and lumberyard/ contractor for a build next spring.

Turbo cad has a free thirty day test, full version. The cost for the software I’d quite reasonable for the power of it. 2d and 3d version is available.

Thanks. I tried sketch-up a few years back but didn’t have a real need so I quit it. I’ll likely give it a new go. I’ll also look into turbo cad.

I use SketchUp, tinkercad, blender, and solid works.

I highly suggest SketchUp the new web version is fantastic for being free.

You wanting 2D or 3D software? For 2D go to DeltaCad.com. Cost a few bucks, but I have used it for years.
