so first time poster here, ive finally decided it is time to build a shop in the garage because I have lots of projects and no room to work on em, I just got into this house at the end of last year so I wanna get this done before the snow flies, although those in Alberta know that it already snowed ??? so like it says its detached im in the process of running a 60 amp service out there as well as a gas line for a heater, now there was already a conduit for a single 15 amp service out there when it was built because the garage was built after the house was, house 00 garage 09, any way I went about half way with the trench my self until a friend came over....beers....dig...beer ....beer....dig...floodlights....dig.....finished....11pm
I plan on running teck 6/3 direct buried because I don't wanna put it in conduit, and here I can fit gas and electrical in the same trench, I myself am a communications tech so ill be running data tv and phone out there as well, but that's what ever. now I can do the electrical my self but I can not do the gas as I cant even buy the pipe and what not, so that will be sourced soon here as well. so for the good stuff....
