The overhang area (lean-to) is requiring a little extra care so the framing didn't get too far today but as you can see fascia boards mostly done and roof sheathed all but where it ties into overhang area.........
They are calling for rain tonight and occassional tomorrow so we'll see if shingles do in fact get delivered and put on tomorrow.........

Also this is a shot of the gable end where stairs will be going and the extra bracing required and the double truss required for the extra spacing......

What about the spray in stuff???

Heck maybe double insulate it....extra comfy so when your wife kicks you out you will have some place warm and cozzy to go to :lol_hitti

As far as insulation goes, minimum I'd use rolls of R38 on that beast in your climate.. I've got about 6" of that blown in stuff. I'm adding rolls of R13 this fall. Lowes has it on sale this week, buy 2 get one free.$9.90 a roll. Absolutely love your shop!

2x6

Yes.......2x6 walls. The recommended r-value for ceilings is r-49 around here, what combination will give you that the cheapest? Slowly but surely it's getting there and can't wait to get it far enough to move in but that will take a month or more after floor is poured to let it cure for painting floor......... Keith

The windows are Pella Commercial Awning windows, I don't remember the specs on insulating value but it sounded impressive when I read on it. I just plan on putting blinds behind the windows for the ones I prefer to have it........
When does the sale at Lowes for insulation end? I'm not ready for it just yet but buy two get one free sounds good..........
Over the weekend I brought twenty sheets of 3/4 plywood up to second level. Had to be creative as I was solo on it so used a chain hoist one sheet at a time. Anyways, I got about 85 percent of it screwed down. I'm leaving an area open to build a trap door for hoisting big items that I can't take up the stairs. It got dark on me but will provide photos at a later time............ Keith

Even if you dont need the stuff just yet....you might as well get it if they are running such a great deal on it....save you problems later and free up alittle extra money for something else that is cool....just an idea

Thanks for the kind words. About half the brick is up and supposed to be finished out tomorrow. Currently it is raining it's **** off out there and windy big time! I've been pretty lucky on weather so far but would prefer it to continue.
I'm still hoping for pouring the floor on friday............ Keith
