now for my question.
I have a 24x24 detached garage, Northern Ontario - temps range from -30c to +30c.
I am in the process of finishing the garage, I have just purchased a Mr Heater 75,000BTU Propane Heater, currently the garage has no insulation / wall / ceiling covering. But I will be finishing that shortly.
The roof has 24inch soffit vents 360 degrees, this includes continuous soffit venting from the gutter to the peak as well as along the sides.
If I install those Styrofoam soffit vent panels from the soffit towards the peak is it really necessary to install a ridge vent / wirly bird / box vent / gable vent?
or will the venting I have be adequate? my thinking behind that is on either end at the peak, hot air can escape through the soffit vent.
