I got a couple gallons of this paint for free today (devflex hp). A google search said that it's very good for painting industrial machinery, door, high traffic areas etc. Anyone ever use this product on garage floors? Mine is done now with cheapo menards epoxy paint, which looks aweful after only 9 months. Could I sand the existing floor and use a couple coats of this stuff?

Well, I'm goin for it. Sanded down the floor and cleaned it real good a few hours ago. I did a small test panel just on a magazine and the stuff looks good. I'll let you know how it turns out

I am a commercial painter and we use it on hollow metal door frames, and the stuff works really well for that. I know its hard to get off your hands when cleaning up. When we spray the frames we get overspray on the concrete and it does seem to bite into it pretty well. But you can scrape it off with a razor scraper if you try. I dont think it will work as good as a two part epoxy but I could be wrong. Keep us posted how it holds up.

Well it's been done for a week and a half now, and it's weird and awesome. Awesome right now, looks great, semi gloss, has taken a ton of welding sparks, oil, and dropped metal parts this last week and no chips or even stains, everything sweeps right up.
The weird thing is. I sanded the old floor pretty good with an orbital before using this product, pained it and let it dry. The next day it looked great. 2 days later there were bubbles EVERYWHERE! When you walked on it it made a crackling sound, but never chipped or anything. I thought I was screwed. I had already started looking for some sort of tile to lay over. Then on day 5, walked out And all the bubbles were gone. All of them. Weird
