My compressor was damaged by the movers in our recent move. The tube from the compressor to tank was bent. The tube is an obsolete from parts suppliers. Can I go to a local NAPA and ask for a high pressure hydraulic hose to be made with fitting and remove and replace the old line? I've been reimbursed for the cost of a new unit, but why not save a few $. The compressor is from the late 90's , but is fine for my use, running finish nailers.

The line has a crazy bend not sure what a Napa can bend/make, what about another aluminum pipe?
Im guessing the aluminum pippe was originally bent for a service/stress loop. I was going to see if NAPA could match the end fittings and make it long enough for a stress relief loop.

Remake a line with copper or aluminum tube.

That’s not a good place for a rubber hose, high temperature air and all. Also, the metal tube gives a tiny amount of cooling…not much, though.

Update, I tried taking the plastic housing off. The pipe looks like it has a seal in the compression, its not a compression ring of pipe fitting. I've never taken one apart, maybe this is typical.

the compressor was purchased in 1996, maybe time to just day good by, the mover has already paid me $175 for it.
