Hey everybody.
I been here longer as a guest, but since a few months i have my new garage. Not a very big one. I can have 4 cars in it. But then there is no room anymore for parts and other stuf.
Well i'm kind of an BMW ///M powered enthousiast and i would like to paint my garage in the colours of BMW motorsport. That means primary white with details in light blue, dark blue and red. I'f someone is handy with photoshop to work some creations out, feel free:thumbup:.

Build a free standing loft in the back for overhead storage, it appears you have the height.

Are you on s14.net?

I'm no help with photoshop, but your M's are nice! I was fortunate enough to get some hot laps in a 2014 M3 at Pocono on thr infield roadcourse a few weeks ago. It's pretty darn mean! We ran the brakes off of it that day. BMW covered it all- new pads AND rotors- under warranty. :3gears:

The romantic hills of central Umbria, Italy,
What I would do -

This part is a given. White upper halves of the wall and ceiling. BMW blue lower half. The red M3 is used as a separator stripe in the middle. Or dark blue stripe with a red center or outline stripes for it.

What jumped out at me was the huge "square" back wall - I would do one of 3 things with it - (1) find an old BMW dealers sign that fits the upper half (or more) of it (an old motorcycle bar I used to go to had one), (2) do a mural of the same on the entire wall, or (3) a roadrace mural on the back wall. Workbench along the back wall, boxes etc on the sides next to it. Park the cars next to one another in front.

By the way, very cool M3's !!

Thanks, the brakes are always the weaker part from BMW. Even hoth hatches have Brembo brakes, so why BMW didn't use decent brakes as well. Their cars are expencive enough. In Belgium is not allowed to put different brakes on the cars..

I didn't mean to infer there was an issue with the brakes. I was just pointing out how hard we ran it that day. When someone came in from a hot lap, the brakes were ticking so loud it sounded like the A/C compressor cycling on & off. I still can't believe they warranteed the brakes. I guess they didn't run a scan on it. It would have shown we were running it up to 125 on the straights all day. If I was the Service Manager, I would have politely told the "customer" (Alex) that racing wasn't covered. I guess Alex has bought enough cars that they basically turn a blind eye to his odd "warranty" requests... :lol_hitti

What do you plan to do in the garage? I mean, do you plan to stuff 4 cars in it, and just use for parking/storage? Or are you planning to wrench on the cars there, and need room for lift, workbench, etc?

If you're going to have lots of wall space, I like the idea of large format printing.... How about a giant racing photo.....

A nice rare estoril E46 M3:thumbup:.

I had a E46 M3 Carbon black i used daily. But i replaced it with for a E36 320i individual convertible. I needed the money to buy my garage. And the E46 M3 is very fragile:(. Apart from the E30 for me the E46 M3 was the best looking M3.

At the moment there are 2 cars in that garage, but in the future maybe more to come:dunno:. So need space to park 3 cars in it.

I need 2 or 3 tire storage rack. I think on the wall in the back.

I have nice pictures from my cars i would like make posters from it.:)

Yes, i will consider it. Like a print from Eau Rouge at Spa or a corner from the Nurburgring. Old DTM pics are to crappy for a big print. And it will be hard to find a picture that is big enough for a print.

My car is a 74 2002 Turbo. I can't post pics right now, but I would take the lay-out of the side stripes on the Turbo. It is original BMW and to my biased ;) eye looks good. You would like having one in your garage!

LOVE the black car, gorgeous! As far as the garage, I think the stripes in the photoshop look pretty good. Keep in mind you could always add some wall art to make it not look so "plain"

You really need to post a picture of your garage from your cellphone, so i can see where an unattended 89 M3 sits. :3gears:

I own a 97 M3, that will be put into track duty in a year or so.

I have done a different way of my first plan to go white with just the ///M stripes. But white is just so... white:dunno:.
I used the colors from the cars:evil:.

Next weekend i will have my tyre rack, my cabinets and a reck for the bigger car parts. Tomorrow i put the posters on the walls.

Those colors look similar to mine. I decided to go with a lighter gray stripe. I originally planed to use a red stripe but I just didn't like the way it looked. Besides, I will have plenty of red with all the cabinets and boxes. Cool cars you have there.

Love all the M cars. Two in the family right now, but getting ready to be one.

We just sold Sherri's MRoadster, and went over to the dark side for her new ride.

As for M colors in the garage; I would stripe two walls diagonally with the colors you want.

Devilxtreme, I think the colours you chose look really sharp, especially now with the rest of the racks and stuff in. Well done!

galute, I like your colours a lot too, I might have to consider that in my space!!

p.s. You should send a message to the Mods and get your thread moved to Garage Gallery.

I'm working on my car at the moment. And i finaly found some time to hang up my posters. Anything from the cooling get changed so i can drive long distance without being afraid. The containers from cooling and the wiper fluid container are new. So small upgrades but improve the look major under the hood:thumbup:.
