Picked this up today at Home Depot while some plumbing supplies. They were marked down to $127 from $159.They didnt have any in stock so the manager let me have the display at an even better price. He went to find the charger and batteries but couldnt locate them.He pulled 2 batteries and a charger off the shelf and knocked $40 off the price because it was a display model. Also picked up some Milwaukee Shockwave impact bits while I was there.I can see my self using this quite a bit around the house and working on the cars.

I got the exact same set up...Cept I paid a lot more for mine, bought them off of the mac truck. Came with the 1/4" chuck like yours, and a 3/8" drill, a light, 2 batteries, a charger, and a fancy bag. I use mine around the house.

You got a killer deal!

sweet. my old 14.4 dewalt is my most used tool, its rarely out of my reach at work and follows me home alot too. i think i'd have to go with the 20v to justify the upgrade though ;)

My workmate has this impact and loves it. The battery life is great. And its fairly powerful for its size. The only issue we have had is the plastic l.e.d. ring and metal nose housing have come loose somewhat. Doesnt seem to affect performance though. Great buy.

The 20v are bad ***.I use one at work once in awhile and I love it.Its a little out of my price range right now.

I done a quick search and seen that dewalt makes a 3/8 drive 12 v max impact.Anyone have one?If so how do you like it?

I have one of those, along with the drill.

LOVE IT.

My girlfriend likes it too, because it's not heavy!

Home depot did the same thing for me when I bought a display model as well. paid $150 for a new milwaukee, 1/2 cordless impact, with battery and charger. Felt like I stole, couldnt get thru checkout fast enought, was sweating bullets!

I've got one of the 12V Max drills....got it for working inside vehicles and other tight spaces where my 18V XRP Drill won't fit/too heavy. I have drilled 3/4" holes using step-bits with it and it keeps going. Definitely no complaints!!

good deal. In general though home depot is a ripoff for cordless power tools. 99% of the time they're significantly cheaper on amazon. That original price they were asking ($160) is just $20 shy of the 12v max combo kits.

Good deal. I have the 20v and love it. I also use those Milwaukee bits and so far like them better than any others I've used.

I bought the 12V max kit at Lowes around Christmas last year. They had a closeout for the impact, screw driver, drill, 2 batteries and a charger for $199, plus you got a coupon for $49 that would get you another battery or a flashlight. I overlooked it at first, then came back to it and thought it was a helluva deal. I'm very impressed with them so far, they are way lighter than all of my old school 18V Dewalts, yet just as powerful in most instances. I use the impact all of the time and it really rocks.

That doesn't look like my 12V charger, You got one better than in the kit that will do 20V also.

I agree! I have this setup for work including the drill and a light. They are small, light, and plenty powerful.
