CPO is offering a 2 battery kit with the Dewalt 12v hex driver.

Although it looks like one, I do not believe this is an impact driver.

its not an impact driver.. its a screw driver, just with the 1/4" hex drive quick chuck, and adjustable clutch.. i have this tool already.. its very nice. its a pretty good upgrade from dewalt's old 7.2 nicad screwdriver. 12v , lithium, nice handle and a belt clip makes this a nice choice.. i drywalled my entire house with the old 7.2 screwdriver.. the adjustable clutch on this makes it a really nice way to disassemble and re-asseble anything where screws hold plastic parts together, like tools or toys..

thats a good price just for the batteries and charger..

I agree on price, I think my trusty 7.2v was more than that and it's still kicking.
kctyphoon, did yours have the articulation too? I never really liked that very much, but I could see it's purpose. Just made the thing too dang long.

yes, the articulating model.. at the time, I swore that was one of the best tools I'd ever bought. electricians still love them..if you visit dewalt's website and read the reviews on it, i belive many people have written to Dewalt asking them to just update the battery platform to lithium and keep the overall design. it really was great to have something so light that could fit in my pocket while drywalling ceilings alone.. great, great tool for its time. however now it lacks power and runtime compared to the 12v platform they have. this is a decent alternative i belive, but i still think the old design was great too.
