I thought I would show the "rebuild" I did on my Dewalt 12v max batteries. I receintly bought this pair of cheap aftermarket batteries off of the bay.

In the pictures in the add it showed the Dewalt yellow releases but when they came they were red and my OCD kicked in. So I was out in the shop painting a small project so between coats I pulled apart one of my bad batteries and one of these new ones and the guts from the new ones swapped directly into the old cases. Even the cases were the same as one of the old cases had a crack on the top half so that one has the Dewalt bottom with the new top and the Dewalt yellow release. I marked these ones with an X so i can see how they hold up.
Just thought I would share this with the 12v max crowd. I use the heck out of mine, just wish they would keep up with the M12 and bring out some new products.
