Nice review! I've spent a minimal amount of time with these in the store and I like them. Not a deWalt fan, as I grew up on Milwaukee stuff, but these seem like REALLY nice tools. Now my friendly local lowes just needs to hurry up and stock that new Porter Cable 12v set so I can make up my mind as to which division of B&D gets my money...

Just when I thought I was going to go with the Makita 10.8v setup. Decisions, decisions.

Glad you liked it!

Each brand has their own benefits. Makita - good balance of features & price. Milwaukee - most expansive tool line and good quality. Bosch - most powerful and most compact (currently). Dewalt - most ergonomic and best feel.

Will the tools be available without batteries + charger ?? In germany they don´t offer the impact wrench with the 3/8" anvil...

Not immediately I don't think, but it's a fair assumption that they'll be available as bare tools in the future.

I checked a UK supplier that I know carries the new 12V/10.8V lineup, but it doesn't look like they're stocking the 3/8" impact yet either.

Almost all of my power tools are DeWalt so when I saw this new line I jumped on it pretty quickly. I picked up the 12V Max screwdriver a week ago and I have to say that it is great. I have used it quite a few times and like it over my Milwaukee 12V screwdriver.

Home Depot currently has a special going on where you get the LED light free with the screwdriver or drill. The light has also gotten some use and I have to say that it is damn bright! It also has a strong magnet on it, which comes in very handy.

Overall I am impressed by this new DeWalt line and can't wait to see what else comes out for it. The inspection camera looks pretty nice from the pictures I have seen, but I have yet to see it in the stores.

My favorite part of the 1/4" hex screwdriver is its auto-lock one-handed unlock bit holder!

If you have any Q's about the inspection camera, ask away - I'm reviewing one of those as well.
