I have a Dewalt 18v drill (DC720) with 2 batteries and a 110v charger.
batteries are DC9096 Nicad I believe...

I just picked up a hammer drill and impact with 2 Li Ion batteries and a 12v charger (DC9319)

Question:
Can I charge all the batteries in my 110v charger? (DW9116) or do I need to charge the Ion's in the DC9319 ?

I know I can charge all of them in the new charger... it does Ni cad/NiMH/Li Ion

BUT.... it's a 12volt cig lighter charger....

I guess I'd have to get a converter or a 12v wall wart and wire juice to the charger...:headscrat

I really dont have use for the cig lighter deal...

Sell all your the old nicad stuff. It’s not compatible and you won’t want to use it after you get used to the power and smaller size of the lithium. That’s what I did anyway. I had a ton of Dewalt nicad then got a lithium Ridgid impact on clearance. The smaller size plus the battery charge indicator hooked me. I dumped the nicad and never looked back.
