My guess is its a typo. Those appear to be NIcad's. Dewalt did have 18v post type lithium batteries. The adapter kits come with 2 batteries and a charger.

I bought the adapter a long time ago and love it. But, I still have some 18V NiCads and will use them until they die.

Rockler had a deal on the adapter, charger and two batteries - they gave you a $50 gift card. I bought the kit, handed the gift card over my shoulder to my wife who bought two more batteries. The Rockler guy grinned and said "Well played sir, well played".

Doesn't meet my convenience criteria

Anywho, decided not to buy these, something not quite right about the ad & suspect they are illegally branded knock offs.

Kit with adapter, batteries & charger is currently unavailable. (from Dewalt, HD may have some)

Missed the big chance to swap to new batteries unfortunately, black friday.

Keep an eye on Blains farm and fleet, wilco, farm and fleet, and maybe HD.

I have never paid more than 10$ per aH for a DeWalt 20V battery. I've seen the adapter as low as $18.99

Best national deal I've seen recently is the HD "spend this much" and get a free extra tool.

Last time I saw that I got a free Dewalt 4.5in angle grinder after buying a 7 or 9in variable speed version.
Didn't have spare cash on Black Friday, yesterday I got my 2019 tax refund... ($144.96)

It's definitely one of their batter deals.

I work for one of their competitiors and we will price match/reduce to the deal but generally we try and keep single tool pricing so low that it's not worth it.

So here's what happened:
I went to Lowes today & everything worked out rather well in the end, even though it started out as a total ***********.
I shall post the details in the new tools thread :)

The Li battery technology is changing quickly. I'm at the point where rebuilding is a poor choice.

Buy a new pack with the latest technology battery. Good chance it will last longer than a couple of technology cycles.
