its garage cleaning time. I have too much stuff and am looking for someone who might want some of it

dewalt 18v drill kit. excellent condition, been used but not abused.
it is a spare as I have bought a larger kit. this kit is $199 at HD but is currently on sale now for $149. I was thinking $100 + shipping and I can add in the flex flashlight.
I also have a spare circular saw so if you want all three I would go $150.
I belive the kit with the drill and saw is $300, so I figure this is a good deal as you will get the flashlight too

In light of some recent stories about batteries going dead and not being replaceable, how standard are these DeWalt 18v batteries? Can they be easily obtained and at a modest cost?

What are the model numbers of these items so I can find out more?

The batteries are easy to find work well for the type and run about $80 retail. DeWalt 18 volt is one of the largest platforms with well over 40 tools in the line so it is not going anywhere soon. I see two packs in the $100 range from time to time. You can get the cells out of cheap "other brand" 18 V packs and rebuild the DeWalts with them. I have 2 that I did just this for $40 and so far so good. The (still too expensive for me) DeWalt Lithium Ion 18V battery works in all DeWalt 18 volt tools

I have seen new dewalt 18v battery packs available for as little as $39 on ebay

all of my batteries are in good condition, in fact I have never had a battery from dewalt go bad. the chargers I use have a built in tune up (same charger as included) and that seems to extend battery life very well

this drill has only been used a few times as I have several of the dewalt drills and do not need the duplicates

I have 6 18 volt batteries, and I just had the first one fail to take a charge and that one is probably about 5 or 6 years old. The DeWalt battery pack seems to be one of the best that has been produced.. If I already didn't have the tools in this ad, I would by them myself.

I just need to clear out duplicates so I have some money for projects and more tools

I have 5 dead DW batteries but I also use them HARD every day, don't worry about the batteries, you can purchase new Sub C batteries on Ebay, get a higher MAH rating and have better than new batteries for $35-$40 a piece.

My 18V DW hammer drill is about dead, It's been used hard for 4 years in the electrical trade. If the drill above was a hammerdrill I'd be all over it.
