Dewalt 20v chain saw

My saw quit working. Motor turns, cleaned safety switches but can not get motor to run. If I remember correctly it is getting 20 v power to motor. Friend thinks it is the board whatever that means. Above my area of knowledge. Any suggestions.

How long have you had it? The wife’s Dewalt leaf blower did the same thing.

Called them and once they found it was still under warranty I sent it in for free and a new one showed up a couple weeks later.

Is it the little 12” one?
Type 1?
They had well-known issues that were fixed in the Type 2 forward.
DeWalt should replace it free of charge.
They did for me.
