I think this is the same kit that was $100 at Home Depot or lowes last Black Friday. Decent kit, I only use the drill for light duty and am careful with it as it seems nothing like its big brother. The smaller batteries are nice to have around.

Arrived today, plain cardboard box... everything well packaged. Two batteries !!!! Did not notice the light on the front of the drill before. Stays lit for a bit after you release the trigger. Damn this is nice.

Gave the UPS driver the empty Dewalt bag. Poor guy has basically delivered a few tons of stuff to me.

Did you get the 1.3 or 1.5 AH batteries? I was curious because the new packages for this item list 1.3AH but the refurbs are listing 1.5AH. (PelicanPines reports he rec'd 1.3AH)

Perhaps the 1.3's were special product for these holiday drill sets and when reburbished they replace the batts with standard 1.5's?

Anyway, the newegg.com deal is over but rakuten.com has the same price currently for anyone wanting to get in on this.

The disclaimer states that accessories may not be included. Ships
from CPO Outlets. Do they always included 2 batteries, Charger and bag or case?
Not too concerned if two way driver tip is not included but I would expect the important stuff like batteries, charger and bag/case

Ok and what is the difference between the 1.3 Ah and 1.5 Ah batteries?

One of the comments from the reviews section was complaining he got one size battery and the specs show the other size included

That's for the previous answer frugalscotty

I got 2 x 1.3's both with an R scratched into them & a manufacture date of 2013. Still very happy with 80 bucks to the door. It came with the drill, 2 batteries, charger, bag and belt clip.

Pretty sure by "accessories" may not be included, they might mean bits, etc that may be included with the normal "set". Would not have touched this if two batteries were not stated as included.

Thanks for the reply, PelicanPines. That is a bit disappointing. I thought that refurbed items like this generally got new batteries included. I hope they hold up for the long haul.

Looked at my set. They came with 1.3's. I'm almost positive the ad said 1.5's when I bought them. And sounds like you guys are recieving almost the same thing I got new. Drill, 2 Batteries, charger and case. I didn't get any bits not a belt clip.

To be honest, after I took pictures of the batteries. I looked at everything with a magnifying glass. Only the drill itself shows signs of "used". The batteries, charger and bag are without scratches that occur during normal use and the copper tabs on the charger had zero markings, prior to me mounting it in my charger station and sliding a battery in to test it.

The drill had 1 scuff on the side along with some minor wear on the trigger area. I suspect the chuck was replaced in the rehab.

I would so buy this again, even with the 1.3 batteries. It's nothing like the 18v downgrade batteries you see compared to their xrp ones.

At Rakuten.com? It lets me add it to my cart. Does out of stock show later in checkout?

I bought one this morning around 10am. As far as I can tell it went through as it should. Don't forget to go through Ebates to access Rakuten to receive an extra 6% rebate back.
