Hi all,

I've heard mixed opinions about both the 20v and 60v cordless circ saws, and was wondering everyone opinion on them.

Battery cost shouldn't be considered, as I already have a flexvolt battery (and will probably pick up another if I end up buying a 60v recip saw or something)

The price of the bare tools are the same (unless I consider the newer 578, or a wormdrive style saw), between the DCS575 and DCS570, with the only difference being 20v or 60v.

What are your opinions?

I watched a review on youtube with the flexvolt and the power detect models.
The 60v is pretty much unstoppable if you need the power. Price being the same, and you have the battery already I think the choice is obvious.

I don't want any 60 volt tools so I got the power detect version. I have a corded worm drive if I ever need to do long full depth cuts repeatedly.

I would go for the flexvolt. I have the 20v version, and it eats through 5ah batteries pretty quickly.

I have the worm drive flexvolt circular saw and love it. I have done A LOT of work with it on my barn and I still cant believe how much power it has.
