Anyone venture to guess how the impact sstacks up against the snapon CT4850HO?

I have been a fan of DeWalt 18v tools for years. I got the impact wrench from the 18v camp and it was a let down. Then decided to try the 36 volt one to take lug nuts off of a track car. It failed it was not able to get them off. I thought it was battery related. I charged up and tried again. No luck. Sent it back and got another tool same story. I got a refund from Amazon.

I bought the Snap On..I love it. If I saw myself saying this a year ago I would have laughed. At that time I thought Snap On would not stack up its not what they do I was very wrong. The kit is fantastic.

If anything happened to the one I have I would get another tomorrow.

Yes, they are absolutely as bad-*** as they look. We sell these where I work, and I recently had a customer who wanted to make sure that the drill could do what he needed it to do. I told him to bring his big wood-boring bits over and we could test out the display model. After drilling several large holes at high speed in 2x's, he was convinced. The drill didn't even seem to bog down at all.

Because they are Li-Ion, they are not much heavier than their 18V counterparts. I wrote a review on our site's tool blog.

I want to know how the snap on and dewalt compares to the Millwaukee v28 1/2 impact, I can read the specs, but how do they compare in the real world? I have the millwaukee and it has worked fine for me, but it seems that people think the snap on and dewalt are better and I was curious if one has tested this to be true or is it just an opinion?

I have 2 of the Mil 28 impacts, for the most part they work well. I would say if it doesn't remove lug nuts they are on too tight or dry seized. I have found cases where it didn't work, where they can hit they work well, I use them a quite a bit, very handy.
