I got this grinder at a garage sale, sounds great but the blade changing lock only locks in the tightening position and spins in the un-tightening position, which means I cant take a wheel off unless I use a big pair of pliers.
I took the head off and it seems like it is purposely built this way, only to lock in one position because the grinder mechanism has ramps on the inside making it impossible to lock going the other way.
Is this grinder built this way? I think I have a aftermarket backing flange but the grinder itself does not have a square channel like most grinders for the backing flange to grab onto.
Maybe built for a very specific wheel?
Thanks.
