Hi I need a little information I'm getting ready to add another 60 gallon tank to my dewalt air compressor I'm wanting to go with steel pipe from one tank to another instead of just air hose then use pex for my air supply line... my question is by adding the extra tank will this my compressor from kicking on as often? I use a lot of air tools( and as anyone who uses air tools knows) there air hogs and my air compressor is just a 220 single stage compressor so I wanna try to keep it from cycling as much as possible to help prolong the life of it . Anyone with any information or ideas let me know

I would not use steel pipe, vibration is going to cause stress on the pipe fittings and eventual leak, I used a short piece of 3/4"
hydraulic hose about 2' from my compressor to the 3/4" copper tubing for my shop supply system
