Tried various zip codes around me in 3 state area . . . . no luck.

One did have "Call Store" but inventory of 1 was incorrect. Found another with qty 3, but guy claimed they were all defective in the return to manufacturer bin. Best chance was 4 in Colorado but customers were snatching them up !!

If they have it, CALL AHEAD and have them hold it under your name, if they will help you out.

I did not get the extra discs, but i still think $20 is a steal for this one too.

I ended up getting slightly different DeWalt model # DWE4011 (it is 7 amp whereas the TSC grinder was 10 amp). The model DWE4011 DeWalt grinder had Home Depot price of $59.00 . . . . so a discount of $39.01

Also convinced them to give me 5 free discs like were shown on TSC website!!
Thus, was out-the-door with both grinder & discs for $21.44 !!

Try your luck at printing out TSC website and taking it to your Home Depot and asking for Price Match.

yup. they probably fielded a lot of calls from pissed off stores because of all of the gj members trying to get cheap grinders.

i am all for a good deal but trying to get someone to honor a price that is more than likely below their cost.

This is about as clean screenshot as I have of TSC website as a JPG.

If you've got better software that can crop and make PDF's, go to TSC website and create a better printout.

Sunuvabitch if that didn't work for me on the way home today!

First I hit Lowe's, who were reluctant, but did their "due diligence" by calling the Tractor Supply store across town, who confirmed it is an item they stock(?), but are currently out of stock.

Then I went directly across the road to Rural King, who just looked at the description and matched the price. The RK purchase is also subject to a 12% in-store rebate!

Both places "screwed" me out my bonus discs, though!

I'm doing the same thing on my way to work tomorrow morning, then I'll get rid of my $10 HF grinders.

And these ARE the beastly 10A grinders, not the wimpy 7A Dewalt I already had.

I asked nicely at the customer service desk at Lowe's, and was able to get the 10 amp Dewalt price matched using the screenshot. Originally priced at $89.99. Only difference is that I didn't get the extra discs... I was plenty happy with the $70 discount, and got the feeling that I probably would end up empty handed if I asked too many questions.

Honestly I think I got lucky... I expected to get shot down, and probably would have if I had gotten a different employee. The one I had wasn't someone who was clueless, they just made a decision to do it. I wasn't pushy about it, and made it clear that I didn't want her to do anything that she could get in trouble for.

It worked for me, I took a screen shot and printed it. I took it to HD and it was no questions asked, I ended up getting the 10amp model with the paddle switch (like the deal) and also got an extra 2 year warranty for $12.00..total out the door with a 5 year combined warranty was around $35..GREAT deal!
