DeWalt battery Torx screw size?

What is the correct Torx size for the screws in DeWalt batteries?
A Torx 10 works but is a little loose in the screw head.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question
...but you could find yourself some torx gauges:

I just went out to the garage and checked. Both my 18v & 14.4v dewalt batteries use a T10.

T15 will not even fit in the fastener. The T10 was a snug fit.

I tried four different T10's.
1. A bit in a gearwrench driver
2. L shaped torx key
3. T-handle
4. A Bondhus (screwdriver handle) T10

All fit snug

Just inspecting the battery date code to see if it matches the plastic case date.
This is a DC9096 battery I purchased off ebay but the screws are the same as my old DW9099 battery.

That would ****. Post back if the battery was tampered with...so we can avoid that seller like the plague!

A friend of mine is pretty much an electrical genius and said we could rebuild these (20v) without issue. The cells are easy to purchase. The 20v have a tamper proof torx and I have the entire set, but none of them fit. Any suggestions?
