Its time for a new bench grinder, the bearings are going in the other one and its probably not worth fixing. MSC has a 6inch 4 amp dewalt with cast iron base and heavy duty looking tool rests for 99$. Anybody have this one?

Id love a baldor, but really, its complete overkill. I dont do anything heavy on the bench grinder, mostly grinding and sharpening of drill bits, Chisels and Punch/chisel heads... that sort of thing. How do these things perform?

Thanks

Jim

Hahahaha I just looked at the Sunex branded ones which Im sure are made in chain (the dewalt probably is too) and they look ALOT alike, but the sunex is 20$ cheaper and has a light... Anybody use that one?

How are the *gasp* craftsman ones? I heard they make one that is VERY powerful for the $$$
