I've noticed that my two Dewalt drills (DCD996 and DCD777) have what I believe is some wobble in the chuck -- drill bits have a mild amount of variance when rotating, and it seems to be with any drill bit I use (though they're generally cheap bits, so maybe they're a little off to begin with).
Is this the chuck wobble I hear about, or a different issue? Is there an easy fix I can perform myself, or should I reach out to Dewalt? I'm not extraordinarily far from a service center, and I believe the tools are still under warranty (they're about a year old, maybe a bit older).
Forgive my lack of knowledge, I did some google searching and while I can find instructions on how to replace the chuck, I'm not finding information on whether or not the chuck is my issue.
Thanks!
