Those are brushed, at least the impact is for sure and the drill looks to be as well. I would pass on this one, might be the 1.3 amp batts too.

you will get a workout using the dewalt ratchets. those things are built like a tank body wise. not sure about the grearing. they appear to be pretty nice tools.

Great deal! Best tool deal I've seen so far.

Yes I know it's not Dewalt's top of the line combo but when you factor in it'll do most anything a DIY'er will need and also getting a great mechanics tool set for free essentially which many have said is better than their craftsman set.

The mechanic set is great. It is much nicer than any current craftsman I've seen. It is $223 alone right now on sears so the op paid less with the 2 piece combo. I'd say that's an incredible deal.

I've got that Dewalt 204 piece set and it is of exceptional quality. I've had it for a couple years now. Fit & finish on the sockets / wrenches is great. Ratchets are nice & beefy...no fear of breaking those at all. Not a lot of filler material in the set either.

If I were in the market for an additional power tool combo set, I'd be heavily inclined to grab one of those deals.

Got in on this early this morning... May lead me to return my craftsman 240 piece usa set I bought a month or so ago... Sorry 239 piece set... Because of missing 10mm socket. The craftsman quality is so questionable despite being made in the USA.
