Hello,
I picked up a Dewalt nailer a while back on craigslist. Finally got around to putting air to it and it fluctuates between automatic nailing attempts or just blowing air, all on its own. Again, all I do is connect the air hose and off it goes.

Is there something inside I can rebuild or just toss it? I know less about nailers than anyone, so put your response in English :)

make sure that you have the proper nails for it. The tool has a list on the side that tells you what nails to use. Those nailers have 2 o rings on the inside that become brittle and fall apart. have it serviced by a store that fixes air and power tools. The air is able to get around the o ring seals and it blows out the back.
