Dewalt DCF899 with MAC BWP151 Boot

I wanted a cover for my DCF899HB and read somewhere about the MAC version of this impact and its boot. Ordered one up and am very satisfied.

Since I could not find confirmation that it fits or a photo, I felt others may wish to see it. Fit is very good except a couple places to trim (front nose and rear bumper areas). The battery cover fits perfect even though the MAC batteries have extra bumpers on them.

Can you show areas that were trimmed?

Here are photos of the unaltered boot.

It will probably work fine as is, but I don't want it to start to peel back over time from sliding on its side. The nose really doesn't need it as it only extends to where the back of a large socket will end.

I'd like to think they designed the nose portion to meet the drive end of the socket to help prevent debris from getting up under the boot itself.

I have the same setup, didn't trim anything. Been working fine for a couple months now.

Hi..Im from Malaysia..I have a problem about where to get protective boot for my dcf899 and dcf894..for your information I try to search in eBay if some seller have sell bwp151 boot ...but no one there have sell that boot..any recommendations other protective boot that can fit to my dcf899 and dcf894... please I need some advice
