Dewalt DW 920 7.2 Volt Cordless Screwdriver

I have 2 DW 9057 7.2 Volt batteries for my cordless screwdriver and one of the batteries has just gone bad. A replacement battery is approx. $29.

Just wondering how long before the other battery goes bad and should I just buy 2 replacement batteries ($58) or should I purchase a new tool? I have the Dewalt cordless drill/driver, but I like the size and weight of the cordless screwdriver for light tasks. Is a more powerful battery available for this model? Any other brands/models I should consider?

If you can get away from the stick style, I have this bosch and it rocks my socks.

you can get the 10.8 labled one for much cheaper, as theyre trying to get rid of them. apparently bosch determined the peak output of the 10.8v batteries to be 12v, hence the 12v max label, but they are the exact same battery, just different sticker on it.

I placed an order for the 10.8V version - comes with 2 batteries and a charger for $68 (reconditioned)

Can't wait to start screwing around

They also have the 10.8/12V PS40 which is the impacting one, if that one is not strong enough for you.
