Dewalt DWE315KT Oscillating Multi-Tool

I'm thinking about investing in an oscillating tool to help with wooden boat restoration.
I'm quite interested in the new Dewalt DWE315KT.

Does anyone have any experience of this tool and are there any known problems with it?

I'd stick with Bosch or Fein if I was going to spend more than a HF one cost.

But since you're in ye olde UK I'd get either a Bosch or Fein.

I have been looking at the Bosch and Fein but the Dewalt quick change blades look good.

if you want to use the Dewalt quick change blade system you must use Dewalt or B+D blades....

Use Bosch or Fein so you can use any blade and both come with quick change systems too...

I really just wanted to know if there are issues with power, specifically if the proportional trigger is better or worse.

yes, but then the quick change system don´t work....
