I'm in western Iowa and need a heater to run in the garage maybe 10 hours a week tops. The garage is over 70 years old and not tightly sealed at all. I'm about to pull the trigger (within the hour) on a Dewalt DXH45LP. I have not seen much info on this heater does anyone here have any experience with this? I plan tonrun it off of 100 or 40lbs cylinders just outside the door. I was going to buybit weeks ago and just noticed its even lower in price today.

Will put a lot of moisture into the air, which will immediately condense on all the cold tools.

Stopped using my unvented heater after about the third time.

I guess I never thought that an infrared heater would introduce that much moisture into the air.

My shop will actually have the floor sweat after using an unvented for a couple hours. I'm going to put in a unit heater eventually.

Can you install a vented heater and run the vent out a window, temporarily? You could do that safely without cutting holes in the wall.

As for running a vented heater out the window. Probably not as i would need to replace the one window in the garage since its single pane 70year old plate glass. I could possibly get an MH25LP for free but have nonideanif its consumption would be ornif its something I could run off and on or would I leave it just on? I'm not even sure I'll be in this house next winter as we've been looking for something to call our own for awhile.
