About 2 weeks ago I had a couple of minutes to check out Dewalt's new unreleased flashlights. I was a bit skeptical but ended up really liking the pre-production models quite a bit.

There will be 2AA, 3AAA, and 3D models, with 80, 120, and 120 lumen max outputs. The 3D flashlight will have a battery life of 72 hours.

Dewalt LED flashlight info (via ToolGuyd), and here is the separate photo gallery with 8 more pics. Photos are also up on my Facebook page (link), but I know a lot of you aren't into that.

Prices will be $20, $30, and $40.

Are they made in the USA or China? If they are made in China i'll stick to Maglite.

I'm pretty sure they're imported.

Even so, I was quite impressed with the design and build quality. Still, these are pre-production models, so who knows if that will change.
