So uhm yeah...had a little fun this evening and pulled out most of my Dewalt tools for a little photo op. Missing my DWS780 Mitre Saw and DW745 Table Saw in the picture (they wouldn't fit on the bench lol) but I think I might have a bit of a problem :)

Nice collection! I know EXACTLY how you feel... lol. This is my collection. The picture is almost 6 months old and many more have been added since!

Nice!

Pretty much all my Dewalt stuff is power tools and accessories...haven't gotten any of their hand tools or air tools beyond a couple nailers.

I have some DeWalt tools and I like them, they work just fine. But I also have some Ridgid tools and I find I am starting to like them more so than the DeWalt tools. But I must say though, I have the DeWalt 12 inch sliding compound miter saw and I love it. It is a wonderful saw, have had it for around 10 years I think and have not had any issues with it.

The problem is you don't have the whole collection. I'd contact Dewalt and tell them they need to fill in the voids HAHA!!!!

Wow! You own a lot of yellow. At first, I though it was the Dewalt section at Home depot. Do you like Cat?

LoL I posted the picture on their facebook page and asked them to send me one of their 20v brushless blowers. We'll see if they are feeling generous :)

To be clear....the problem of which you speak is....the bench is not big enough?

Pretty much lol and need a bigger garage too.

LoL nope...just once you buy into one line, it's easy to keep doing it. I have other makita, bosch, porter cable, mastercraft, and a few other odds and ends when it comes to power tools, but generally check out Dewalt first.

How many of them get very much use? I have no problem with collecting. People collect egg cups and match books and string. To each his own but what do you do that requires so many power tools. If I bought everything I thought I could use, it would never match that assortment. I guess you should just consider yourself a collector, then you don't have to justify it to anybody. Collectors need no rational reason beyond, I like them.

I have a good assortment of 18 volt DeWalt tools. As the batteries fail, I'll be updating to their 20 volt platform.

BTW - Your only problem is that your bench is too small

Everything has been used for something except the 20v brushless grinder I just got last week. I DIY pretty much everything around the house, framing to finishing, carpentry to drywall, welding to automotive and everything in between. Nothing professional but it's my hobby and I always have projects on the go. There are a couple duplicates in there too because I've been slowly replacing my older 18v stuff with the 20v line as the batteries are getting fairly weak after 6 years.

Could I get by with less? Yes, for sure, I did for the longest time....but is it handy to have the right tool for the job? Or having three grinders with different wheels? Or two impacts with different bits ready? You betcha.

No jobsite radio? ;) I have a stereo in the shop, but I take my jobsite radio into backyard when I'm grilling or hanging out on the deck. The boombox is pricey but the speaker is a lot less.

Nope, never really had the desire for one, sound quality is pretty lousy and I hate straight radio. I have a stereo in the garage hooked up to the computer for spotify. Just built my deck this past summer but will be getting some outdoor speakers hooked up to zone 2 on my receiver this year for that.

I have a tiny collection of DeWalt 20V Max cordless tools. 1/2" and 3/8" impact, a 1/4" impact driver, a right angle drill, a couple of LED work lights plus a chain saw, string trimmer and hedge trimmer.

I've been doing the same...nice that they've expanded their range with 20v tools as well, a few nice options and of course all the brushless versions.
