DeWalt impact driver DCF860B

I have been considering getting a 1/4 drive impact driver to use when I'm working on my cars and other equipment, I'd like a compact unit so I can use it in tight spaces. I have several tools on the 20 volt DeWalt platform so I'm concentrating my search on tools using that battery. My searches turned up this unit, it seems to have what I'm looking for, the price is pretty high off the common places but I found it on ToolNut at what looks like great savings, the shipping costs are just $6.99 so that is tolerable. Amazon has this tool at $185.60 currently, HD is at $219.00.

Does anyone have any feedback on this tool or the vendor Toolnut?

It's absolutely fantastic. Quiet, fast and powerful.

I wish I upgraded earlier. I paid $200 for mine as a bare tool

edit - when I wrote this, the thread title was 870 (the hydraulic one), not 860.

Two things I remember from when I looked at it, none of which I believe should be a problem.

It only has two selectable speeds, as one position on the slide switch is torch mode. It does have variable trigger of course.

Secondly, it gives fewer but larger blows than the Milwaukee Surge. This was shown at the end of a Torque Test Channel video. 3 blows per revolution rather than 10.

Only reasons I didn't go for it when I was buying, was it had just come out and was quite a lot more expensive than other options.

I bought one a year ago. Should have bought it a long time ago. Looks like I bought it from Home Depot during a Fourth of July sale. I paid $199 for it, including a 6ah battery and charger.

Compact and powerful. Can't think of any reason to not buy it.

I would strongly recommend thinking about stepping to the dcf870. The noise difference is really significant
