Dewalt inflator AC adapter?

Pretty simple question...Any reason to not get an aftermarket ac adapter instead of paying more for OEM?
It's a fantastic tool BTW.

I had considered the ac adapter too but with a larger battery I never found I needed the ac power. That thing just runs and runs on a 5 ah battery.

I’m trying to imagine a scenario where I would use my Dewalt cordless inflator without a battery, where I would have AC power, but wouldn’t just use an air compressor.

Can’t do it.
