CPO has a reconditioned DeWalt portable compressor for sale. DEWALT D55146R 1.6 HP 4.5 Gallon Oil-Free Wheeled Portable Air Compressor.
Wondering if this is a good unit - any comments?
I am looking for a portable compressor for misc wood trim and deck jobs. Nothing to heavy duty and only occasional use for myself and my kids.
Any other/better recommedations? Smaller/lighter?
Thanks.

Most oil less compressors are very LOUD ! They also don't seem to last as long as an "oiled" compressor.

If your only using a nailer, you can get by with something smaller than that as long as you aren't rapid firing !

Unfortunately, I know of no smaller or less expensive "oiled" compressors. There are a couple of good choices for around the same price including Makita M700 or DeWalt D55151.

Or buy a cheap oil less one (like Harbor Freight), get their longest warranty and expect it to die within a couple of years.

That is an Emglo compressor it is good . The smaller dual tank compressor would be better for trim and such.
