My awesome mother in law picked me up a top and bottom set for Christmas, she said that the cashier just rang up the top piece twice so the whole set was 250


*adding for clarification....above was just a quick post because I was surprised and happy. She did not scam or try to deceive anyone. She pointed out that they were not the same and that the boxes were obviously different sizes. The cashier did not seem inclined to void out the already completed transaction and start over. My 4'10 70 year old mother in law went out of her comfort zone to surprise me, going so far as to enlist one of my friends to meet up with her and help.

Was hoping to pick one up after Xmas, my store has some in stock, hopefully theyre still reduced then.

Online price rolled back to 125/225......might be good news for some folks.

Spotted 2 bottoms and 1 top today.......top is $199 and bottoms $299.

Manager would not budge on price....Next move

I explained that to them and he verified that is was out of stock in all area stores....I am thinking price match using the pictures in this thread showing the web page w/prices

I already have 6 of the DeWalt tops that I picked up for $100 each using HF 20% coupon.....I am kinda commented now lol

You might want to wait on the Milwaukee Set to come out in the near future. It's larger and better.

The Milwaukee will probably have a similar build quality but you can bet the intro price of the Milwaukee will be much higher than the marked down Dewalt 125/225. Depending upon how well the Milwaukee sells will determine how many seasons before it gets the same treatment. Slow moving big boxy items do seem to get marked down quite regularly so we can hope.
