I just bought a package deal from a friend. It is a Dewalt corded tracksaw, 59" track, the long track, pair of track clamps, a Dewalt belt sander, and a Dewalt 1/4 sheet palm sander...for 200. I have to say I'm really impressed with the tracksaw. Dewalt used to offer a tsquare attachment which clamped onto the underside of the rail. They discontinued it. I've called about everyone who lists it online and nobody has it anymore.

Now here is my Hail Mary. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to make an attachment for me. I will gladly pay for your efforts. It has to have a t-slot style piece on the top to slide into the bottom of the plunge saw rail. The bottom is not important as long as it is square to the top which is mounted to the rail. Here is a pic of the one Dewalt used to offer...

Maybe this is do-able, maybe I'm SOL.

Yeah you're not too far at all. Seems the festool guys used to use the dewalt t-square since festool didn't offer one. As far as I know from my limited research, makita and grizzly never offered a t-square accessory.

I called them last week. Like so many of these sellers online, they don't stock stuff, it comes from the vendor direct ship instead. They don't know it's not available until they can't get it.

I have the adjustable one. It is ok in a punch. I just never feel confident that it won't get tweaked a little, especially with the long track. It's a lot of leverage working against the miter guage being held tight by a single screw.

DeWalt's frequent discontinuation of accessories for the track saw(s) is the biggest drawback I've seen to the system since I bought into it in 2010.

I just looked for this on a couple of sites that I've had luck with in the past and I only seem to find the adjustable one.

Have you tried Ebay or Berland's tools in Lombard/Palatine/Joliet? http://berlandstools.com/

If you can't find one and want to go the fab route, I have one of these that I could probably loan out as a sample for a little while.

It's a shame. I'm sure it has never been a huge seller for them. I feel the whole tracksaw system, whichever brand, just hasn't caught on here in the states. I love mine though. Dewalt kind of disappointed me with their whole 12v max lineup too. They hyped it up and just haven't done anything with it...minimal tools. I wouldn't be surprised if they just dropped that lineup soon too.

Berland's house of tools was able to help me. Their Joliet store had three so they transferred one to the palatine store for me. My search is done!
