Dewalt warranty experience

Just a friendly heads up, but i had a 1/4 hex to 1/2 drive adapter that had broken, i reached out to [email protected] and they processed a warranty claim.

5 days later , and ups gives me a package. They sent me a bulk pack (qty 25)

I know its a 4$ piece and most wouldnt bother but this time i turned out to be worth the emails. I'll have a lifetime supply of these now whether it was intentional or not.

Similar thing happened to me. DeWalt clamp broke on me, they sent two replacements. Winning!

They replaced a bad battery for me once.

I didn't have proof of purchase but I linked the post I made here at GJ with a picture when I bought it. DeWalt honored that as date of purchase.

Just noticed today my XR 6ah battery took a shite. Purchased it via Home Depot in November 2023. Tried to file a claim online, system wouldn't recognize the model number. Noticed all batteries listed where in the "Do not ship" category.

We'll see if they stand behind it. Being a DIY type, all I can say is this battery doesn't get used a ton. Surprised it failed, will be my first battery from Dewalt that I've had issues with. . .
