Home depot has diablo sawsall bladesfor a $. The same blade is $4 at the pro counter.

I read good things about them from the guys who got the free sample blade a few months ago.
These are store-pickup only and mine is out of the wood blades, but I did order 6 for metal. The real value of these is $2.50 to $3.00 each when you buy a pack of them. Thanks for the heads-up.

I tried two different store by me and both couldn't find the blades. One said it was more than likely a Black Friday item and that was why they weren't out. I didn't feel like arguing/looking any more and just said piss on it.

They aren't on the sales floor at my local stores. The only way I could get them was to order online for in store pickup. No issues and they were waiting for me.
I tried two different store by me and both couldn't find the blades. One said it was more than likely a Black Friday item and that was why they weren't out. I didn't feel like arguing/looking any more and just said piss on it.

I ended up ordering from four different stores, the first three cancelled my order and the fourth store ended up having them. All five stores I tried had 99 in stock though. Thanks for tip.
They aren't on the sales floor at my local stores. The only way I could get them was to order online for in store pickup. No issues and they were waiting for me.

The axe is what i've been using for a lot of demo work. It's been a beast of teeth.

My store had the display in front of the pro desk. They only had the metal blades.

+1 on the Milwaukee Axe blade. Milwaukee did a good job when they redesigned their Sawzall blades a couple years back.

the stores that canceled your order likely did have the item. whoever that pulls the order just can't be bothered to find it if it's not at the usual display. you know they just work there, sigh.

if you are close to the stores, go walk around and look for special display station or end caps. could be @the lumber aisle etc ... see, they don't want it as bad as you so they didn't "find" it.
nobody at my store knows where these are at-inventory shows 99

This exact thing happened to me. I live 2 miles from a Wal-Mart, went to the Wal-Mart, saw 3 copies of a video game in the case, came back home and ordered it for $4 cheaper online, used the pick up at store option, waited for confirmation email, instead got cancellation the next day. Went to local Wal-Mart, saw the same 3 copies sitting in the display, and was told by Customer Service that the order was canceled because they didn't have any in stock when the "picker" (person who fulfills the order) went to look for the game. In the end, Wal-Mart forgot to credit my card back, and the hassle for them to do so was not worth the $4 I would have saved. Lesson learned.

I love these blades, I quartered a car with one blade. Using other blades I'd have had to use 3-4.

I got the diablo carbide sawzall blades. 2 for $10. I have never used the,m before. The package shows a 2 x 4 full of nails as the intended material. I love the Xmas tool sales!

One store in town showed inventory and the other did not. The one with inventory couldn't find when I went there until they checked the shipping containers for Black Friday. Apparently, they are for Black Friday sales and aren't getting out until then. The HD folks were kind enough to sell me 20. Worked out for me- $20 for 20. They are good blades.
