I was in Home Depot today and saw the Diamabrush angle grinder heads for sale in the tool rental department. The 4.5" was $66 and the 7" was $86, that's the cheapest I've ever seen them.

These are the cat's meow if you plan on grinding your floor prior to epoxy.

Is there an expected sq ft lifespan for one of these? I gues it would be tough to estimate since you could dwell in one place.

Damn that's cheap, and it says "New Lower Price" not just a sale. In fact the whole thing is cheaper than the replacement blades now. I have the 7", and I used it on my basement floor, as shown here.

I plan on using it in my ~700 sq ft garage at some point, and I expect the blades to easily make it through the job.

"New Lower Price" is HD's idea of a sale. It will last a week or two, maybe more than a month, but then it goes back to the "older" price
