I just got a Diamalloy 18'' adjustable spanner delivered that I bought on ebay. It is in fine condition, an I have just derusted and cleaned it. Unfortunately the thread of the pin is completely worn to conical form. It is difficult to measure the tread because there is little left.
From what I can see it could be 5/16'' UNF 24 thread.
I'm going to make a new pin on the lathe but would like to get it right first time. Does somebody have such a spanner and could you verify if my estimation is right?
