Hi, I have a couple of adjustable wrenchs and I am trying to take out the screew that holds the gear that turns the end that moves in and out. All the ones I have seen have a slot for a screewdrive. The one's I have now have no slot and by the looks of it must be pressed in??????? Has anyone ever run into it? Know how to get it a part? Thanks Dan

Don't think those are designed to come apart. If you are trying to clean or lube them or free up a stuck one, soak them in evaporust or ATF

Some adjustables are made with a spring loaded pin instead of a threaded one. Just push it in until it clears the frame of the wrench then push the thumbwheel out the side.
