I saw on youtube someone sharpening a carbide saw blade with a diamond blade mounted in
a table saw. What would be a good cheap blade just for this at Home Depot???
I also saw a guy who used a diamond flat file and stuck it to a beveled piece of wood
and did it manually just by sliding the file under the tooth.
Can I get those at Home Depot??

I remember reading an article that showed the steps to building a sharpening jig for use in the table saw to sharpen carbide tipped blades.

Not a lot of risk with the diamond blade no teeth so you can rest your finger on it.

The jig to get the proper angles is the important part.

I just take mine in to get sharpened 10" and above, they will replace chipped teeth and flatten the blade all for $15 to $20 depending on how many teeth.

I just pull the carbide from the smaller ones and buy new, the carbide goes on ebay when a get a few pounds saved up.
