Diamond Calk and Horseshoe Co.

Has anyone ever seen a pitching shoe set in a wooden box. They are from the early to mid 1930's manufactured by the Diamond Calk and Horseshoe Co. I know they are from the 30's verified by the Hoerseshoe museum

Manufactured in Duluth, MN. The tool plant closed in the early 1980's, sad.

I seem to recall that I have some older tools from the same company, but can't recall just what right now.
No horse shoes though.

I know they still sold the set in a cardboard box in the 1970's catalogs. Shoes and pins and I don't remeber what else. This was listed in the tool catalog.

There's a history of their tool making here: http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/diamond-calk-horseshoe.html but I didn't see any mention of horseshoes other than the first paragraph (that website is for tools so it's not surprising they didn't go into detail on other products): The Diamond Calk Horseshoe Company was founded in 1908 by Otto Swanstrom, a blacksmith operating in Duluth, Minnesota. As the name suggests, the company was formed to make calks and horseshoes, and their initial product was a patented insertable calk for horseshoes. (A calk is a gripping bit on a horseshoe, added for better traction on ice or slippery surfaces.) I wouldn't be surprised if they made other steel or iron items over the years as well.
