diamond grinding wheel?

I have to do some grinding on my garage floor to try to prevent water entering. It is about 8" by 16'. I want to tape it. Anyone ever use the Harbor Freight wheel? They don't wear out quickly at all

I’ve never used the HF wheel, but you should be fine. I did my garage floor several weeks ago and the dewalt wheel I had got a good workout. Barely any sign of wear though on the wheel. The wheels grind pretty fast to the point that you have to be careful not to gouge the floor. Take your time as you get the feel of it. You don’t have a large area to do, so no reason to rush.

You’ll want a good mask/respirator as the dust will be flying like crazy.

It's also helpful to keep a shop vac handy and try to **** up as much debris as possible as its flying into the air. Eye protection and respirator are a must.
