Hi, guys. I am getting close to pulling the trigger on my project. this is a stain/clear project so I want the prep perfect. I don't want to use a full on grinder as I don't want to risk gouging. I was going to use one of the acid alternatives to etch but then I cam across these Concrete DNA™ Diamond Satellite Pads. These seem to be made for my application and can be used with a low speed buffer, which I have on hand. I called the supplier and they recommended the 30 grit used in conjunction with a good cleaner (for a wet grind). Has anyone used these and how did they perform?
FYI - I'm thinking about using this, water testing, and possibly follow with a salt etch. I need the soft grind as I have some slight tire wear and Efflorescence around saw cuts I want to clean up so etching alone won't cut it.
