Yup, new guy here. First off, I'm an eccentric insufferable tool *****, I love tools, my tools have tools, Tools are life. My father was a contractor, mostly kitchens, baths, and interior remodeling, and some older home home restorations. I went into that out of high school and learned the trade which also included cabinet and furniture making. To this day I'm current in my "contractor" tools, since every house I lived in got the "treatment", so of course the tool ***** in me demands that I be up to date in the wood tool dept. I eventually got out of the contractor thing and went into building custom harleys, or repairing them, or restoring them. Oh goody, more ******** tools. Never forgetting my wood background, and being somewhat restless, I branched into classical guitar building and some violin repair, so I set up an old world wood shop with a lot of vintage hand tools ( don't even mention bailey planes), and of course being a tool ***** there is also the power tool side of the shop. I mean yeah, I love vintage hand tools, but hell no am I going to use a hand saw to cut long boards. Anyway, I found this place by accident while searching for something about old craftsman sockets and ratchets. I see I'm not the only one with a...problem.
