These boots are listed at $120 almost everywhere else, but Amazon Prime had them for $31 with tax in my size (13) and the free 2 day shipping. Prices vary depending on size. They're waterproof and steel toe. I figured for the price I would try them out. After all, $120 boots should be half way decent. At the moment, my only other steel toes are logger boots, so these will be nice to have for concrete/hard surfaces. 9, 10, 10.5, and 12's are about half price. All Prime. Why 9.5's and 11's cost twice as much is just effing weird. Buggy Amazon pricing software once again.

It's called supply and demand. Pricing auto-adjusts depending on that items purchase history. Trust me, I don't like it either.

Picked up a size 10. Never have worn dickies brand work boots (usually prefer wolverine or timberlands), but for just under $45 shipped and free returns, why not give them a try.

What are your thoughts on the boots? I'm not real impressed. For what I paid, I'm not too upset, but for the original price of $120, I'd be mad. I should have known they would be "flimsy" for lack of better word, after I tried on a pair of their logging boots at Bob's. I won't be buying any more Dickies boots.

I got a pair at $30. Sounds like a good deal, but I execised the Amazon Prime's free return. The boots felt like cardboard. Heavy and stiff. By the the time they break in they will probably be torn...

Trust me, I used to work for Amazon. It's buggy software. Frequently the price will be lower when only one or two are in stock than when they have plenty of stock.
