That is a very good deal it is American made and was probably in the $600 range when it was new in the later 90's. Very good sir. You ****.

That's pretty amazing as you problem know from browsing Craigslist in this area. It is very rare to see tool box's or tool items for a good deal.

Personally I'd clean it up and use the heck out of it as is. I think these look better with light wear than obviously redone paint jobs. Unless you're a good painter.

Thou hast earned premiere Suckage elite !!

. . . yeah really, YOU **** !!

Decide how much work you want to do as holes could be filled with bondo, JB Weld, or MIG welding. Sand her down, prime, and paint.

You ****!!

Friction or ball bearing slides? BB would add a little more to the suckage, but friction wouldn't take any away. I've got a very similar Waterloo-made Craftsman lower 20+ years old (bought new) with friction slides, long wanted a second but never jumped.

ball bearing  and i'm pretty sure I want to paint it looks way better in pictures than in person. I could fill the holes with my mig welder no problem. I think I mostly want to paint it because I want to have a hammered finish I was thinking of repainting the body rustoleum hammered siliver and then reshooting the drawers red kind of like the old craftsmans but I can't decide if it would look good or not.

Prep work is extremely important and time consuming to do and it will make or break the paint job, if you got A LOT of time than go a head but it will be alot of work.
